Stéphane Cadel is a seasoned professional with a 25-year career in the French military, where he trained at the prestigious Saint-Cyr Coetquidan military academy. He served as an officer in the Army’s Petroleum Service, holding various key roles including head of oil storage depots and regional management positions. In 2010, he transitioned to the Armed Forces Headquarters in Paris, focusing on petroleum logistics.

 

Between 2015 and 2017, Stéphane served overseas as the Director of the Liaison Detachment of the Armed Forces Petroleum Service in the Pacific. Upon returning to France, he assumed leadership of the operations department in Nancy.

 

In February 2019, he left active military service and moved back to French Polynesia, where he became Operations and HSE Manager at PETROPOL Group.

 

In April 2024, Stéphane joined the Pacific Energy Group as Chief Executive Officer of PESWP, based in Suva, Fiji. This role oversees operations across the Cook Islands, Tonga, American Samoa, Tuvalu, and Kiribati.

 

Stéphane holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Industrial Environmental Law.
