Historic founder of the group, Albert Moux started the adventure with Shell in French Polynesia in 1987. A keen businessman originating from the Chinese community, Albert succeeded in developing the Polynesian company to make it the market leader. Following the exit of oil majors from the Pacific area, he sets up the regional businessmen consortium which will secure all major’s sales agreement signatures, whether when Shell departed from the Pacific in 2006 (from New Caledonia, Tahiti, Vanuatu), Mobil (from the Vanuatu) in 2007, or BP (from Fiji, American Samoa, Tonga, Cook) or Shell (from Papua New Guinea) in 2010. He is the Group major shareholder and CEO. Residing in Tahiti, where he also runs other businesses, he is married with three children. He is passionate about his country and supports the lifestyle, notably through a strong contribution to the national sport: the Polynesian canoe (Va’a), and a World Champion team.
